About Ciaran

Ciaran Quigley is a singer-songwriter from Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland. Emerging from the wave of the 2020s Irish indie-folk renaissance, he blends heartfelt storytelling with modern indie-folk and rock influences.

A graduate of MTU Cork School of Music with a Bachelor’s in Popular Music Performance, Ciaran has spent recent years honing his craft through hundreds of acoustic gigs across Ireland, sneaking in originals between covers, and supporting artists such as Jamie McIntyre and Simple Things.

In 2026 he signs with CastOver Records and is set to release his debut EP Is This a Problem Darling? in Summer 2026. The four-track collection was produced by Patrick O’Donnell (known for his work with Kingfishr and Chris Cresham). The lead single, the title track “Is This a Problem Darling”, was released in February 2026, with more singles to follow.

Ciaran’s songwriting draws from personal experiences of transition, growth, relationships, and self-reflection. His influences range from Irish artists like Kingfishr and Aaron Rowe to international voices such as Sam Fender and Medium Build. With a raw, instinctive vocal delivery and a growing live reputation, he is carving out his place in Ireland’s vibrant new generation of singer-songwriters.
